You’re not looking for someone to take over. You want someone who gets what you’re picturing, knows how to make it happen, and handles the parts that eat up your time or keep you up at night.
That means your budget doesn’t spiral. Your vendor team shows up on time, does what they’re supposed to, and doesn’t need you to manage them. Your timeline makes sense, your floor plan works, and the day flows without you thinking about logistics.
You get to show up and be present. No last-minute calls. No wondering if something got missed. No solving problems in your dress. Just the wedding you planned, executed the way it should be.
We’ve been planning weddings and events on Long Island for over 30 years. That’s thousands of events, hundreds of vendor relationships, and enough experience to know what works in East Norwich and across Nassau County.
East Norwich couples tend to want elegance without stuffiness. You’re investing in your home, your life here, and you expect the same level of care in your wedding. We’ve worked with nearly every venue on the North Shore and know the local expectations around timing, style, and execution.
You’re not hiring someone learning on your dime. You’re working with someone who’s seen it all and knows how to handle it.
We start with a consultation to understand what you want, what you’ve already handled, and where you need help. Some couples come to us early and want full planning. Others have the venue and need someone to manage the rest. A lot of you just want day-of coordination so nothing gets dropped.
From there, we build your timeline, lock in your vendors, and create a floor plan that actually makes sense for flow and guest experience. We’re talking to your caterer, your florist, your DJ. We’re confirming deliveries, managing setup, and making sure everyone knows where to be and when.
On the day itself, we’re on-site. We’re directing. We’re problem-solving before you even know there’s a problem. You’re not checking your phone or hunting down your coordinator. You’re exactly where you should be.

Full-service planning includes everything: venue selection, vendor sourcing, contract review, budget management, design direction, timeline creation, and day-of coordination. You get one point of contact who’s managing the whole process.
Partial planning picks up wherever you are. Maybe you have the venue but need help with the rest. We step in, fill the gaps, and take over coordination so you’re not juggling 14 vendors on your own.
Day-of coordination is for couples who’ve done the planning but need someone to execute. We take your vision, your vendor list, and your timeline—and we run it. You’ve done the work. We make sure it happens.
Long Island weddings, especially in East Norwich and the surrounding North Shore, tend to run between 100 and 200 guests. Venues here expect polished execution and experienced coordination. We’ve worked with all of them, and we know what they need from us to make your day run smoothly.
It depends on what you need. Full-service planning typically starts around 10-15% of your total wedding budget. Partial planning and month-of coordination run less, usually a flat fee based on scope.
Day-of coordination is the most affordable option, and it’s also the most common. You’ve done the planning, but you need someone on-site to manage vendors, handle timing, and solve problems. That usually runs a few thousand dollars depending on guest count and complexity.
If your wedding budget is $75,000 to $150,000—which is typical for East Norwich and Nassau County—you’re looking at $7,500 to $15,000 for full planning, or $2,500 to $5,000 for day-of coordination. The investment makes sense when you consider what you’re avoiding: vendor no-shows, timeline disasters, or spending your wedding day managing logistics instead of enjoying it.
A planner helps you make decisions. A coordinator executes decisions you’ve already made. Most people use the terms interchangeably, but the scope is different.
Wedding planners get involved early. We help you pick your venue, choose your vendors, design your event, manage your budget, and build your timeline. You’re working with us for months, sometimes over a year. It’s a partnership through the entire process.
Coordinators come in later—usually 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding. You’ve already booked everything. We review your contracts, confirm details with your vendors, create a day-of timeline, and manage execution. You’ve done the planning work yourself, but you need a professional on-site to make sure it all happens correctly. Both are valuable. It just depends on how much help you need and when.
Being organized helps, but it doesn’t replace experience or availability. Wedding planning involves over 150 decisions, contracts with a dozen or more vendors, site visits, payment schedules, and day-of logistics that most people have never managed before.
You might be great at managing projects at work, but you’ve probably never coordinated a caterer, florist, DJ, photographer, videographer, lighting company, transportation, officiant, hair and makeup team, and venue staff all at the same time. And you’ve definitely never done it while getting ready for your own wedding.
The biggest value isn’t just organization. It’s knowing what to look for in contracts, which vendors are reliable, how to build a realistic timeline, and how to solve problems on the day itself without derailing everything. You can absolutely plan your own wedding. The question is whether you want to spend your engagement doing that, and whether you want to manage it all on the actual day.
If you want full-service planning, hire us as soon as you’re engaged—or at least before you book your venue. We can help you choose a venue that fits your vision and budget, and we’ll negotiate better than you will on your own.
If you’re doing partial planning, hire us after you’ve booked your venue but before you start signing vendor contracts. That’s usually 9 to 12 months out. We can help you avoid bad vendors, review contracts, and manage the coordination you don’t have time for.
For day-of coordination, hire us 4 to 6 weeks before your wedding. That gives us enough time to review everything, contact your vendors, build a timeline, and understand what needs to happen. Waiting until the last minute limits what we can do and increases the chance something gets missed. The earlier you bring us in, the more value you get.
Experience in your area matters more than you think. A planner who works regularly on Long Island knows the venues, the vendors, the timing, and the expectations. We have relationships that make your planning easier and your day run smoother.
You also want someone who listens. A good planner doesn’t impose their style on you—we understand yours and make it happen. If you feel like you’re being pushed toward a certain look or vendor list that doesn’t fit, that’s a red flag.
Ask about our process. How do we communicate? How often will you meet? What happens if something goes wrong on the day? You want clear answers, not vague reassurances. And check references. Talk to couples who’ve worked with us. Ask what went well and what didn’t. You’re trusting us with one of the biggest days of your life. Make sure we’ve earned it.
Yes, but only if we’re managing it from the start. A planner who’s involved early can help you build a realistic budget, prioritize where to spend, and avoid vendors who’ll upsell you into overspending.
We also know what things actually cost on Long Island. Venues, catering, florals, and entertainment here run higher than other parts of the country, and if you’re budgeting based on national averages, you’ll be surprised. We give you real numbers and help you allocate appropriately.
The biggest budget killer is scope creep—adding things as you go without adjusting elsewhere. We keep you honest about trade-offs and make sure you’re not saying yes to everything and then panicking when the bill comes. If you’re hiring us just for day-of coordination, we won’t manage your budget. But if we’re involved in planning, we absolutely can—and should—help you stay on track.
